Kallie Ciechomski made her Carnegie Hall debut in 2006 as a winner of the Chamber Music Foundation of New England’s International Competition. She has also performed at Lincoln Center, Boston Symphony Hall, The Kennedy Center, RadioFrance, Paris’ Salle Pleyel, and on National Public Radio’s “From the Top”. Recent engagements include work with Oberlin Improvisational and New Music Collective, performances as principal violist of the Oberlin Orchestra and summer festivals in Virginia and Germany. Teachers have included Julia Adams, Gillian Rogell, Pierre-Henri Xuereb, Gerard Caussé, Karen Ritscher and Lawrence Dutton of the Emerson String Quartet. In addition to her classical studies, she also performs and records with several New England rock groups. Kallie graduated from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in 2010 and will continue her studies at the Manhattan School of Music in the fall.
